I started using 50 mg Viagra (sildenafil citrate) in 1998 when it first went on the market. I guess you could say in that respect I'm one of the pioneers. After a while, however, 50 mg wasn't helping me maintain my male readiness as long as it originally did and it was taking longer and longer to get it, so I bumped the dosage up to 100 mg. Wow--what a difference! Typically, with the 100 mg pills I can be ready in 20 to 45 minutes. I think that since I started using 100 mg Viagra about 4 years ago, it hasn't worked; possibly, 3 times; and the lack of performance at those times was undoubtedly stressed related.
I don't know if Viagra is supposed to prevent early male satisfaction (not prematurely early), but my staying power is off the chart compared to 5 years ago! It is so off the chart that sexual intimacy with my wife can be sustained, whether it's oral or by intercourse, for 20 to 45 minutes to our extreme mutual pleasure. I couldn't last 2 minutes before Viagra because I'm married to such a beautiful, and sensual, woman--even after 25 years--that just looking at her luscious silhouette was enough to get my juices stirred up so much that my sexual control during lovemaking was almost nonexistent.
I just turned 60 in December (my wife will be 50 in May) and our sex life is better today than it was 15 years ago when I had a serious problem both getting and sustaining male readiness, as well as having early male satisfaction, for 10 long, frustrating years for both of us. In fact, our sex life is as good now, if not better, than it was when we first met. And the intensity of my satisfaction, as well as my wife's climatic satisfaction, is absolutely astonishing!
Because of Viagra, my wife and I have achieved something in our marriage that we never accomplished pre-Viagra...
