Camera

If you don’t have a camera then you must buy one with good resolution. Also, the higher the number of pixels the better. In any case you must try to pick up the best that you can within your budget. You can easily get good quality digital cameras from the likes of Canon, Nikon, Olympus and Sony within $400-$500.

If you have an old camera roll based camera, you must clean it properly and carefully. Every care must be taken to ensure that it does not get exposed to moisture and the lens is kept clean. Clean it with only a dry and cotton cloth.

A wedding takes place only once (for most of us) and therefore, every moment must be captured. If you are taking photographs then you must make sure that you try and click as many picture as possible. The aim of clicking pictures on a wedding day is to ensure that every moment, good or bad, happy or embarrassing is captured in a roll or on a CD.

Photography is a subject taught in colleges and people take it very seriously. We don’t suggest you to take a course for one day but you can definitely buy a book on photography or borrow it from a friend or a library. You don’t have to go into the intricacies of shooting but only understand how various factors like light or wind might be of any advantage or disadvantage.

Not even the bravest can win a war with a toy gun. Make sure that you don’t end up looking like a jackass on the big day. Take with you a good quality camera. It should be at least 7 mega pixel and preferably a SLR.

Take a lot of individual pics of both the bride and the groom. Take a few from all the different angles that you can so that they can choose later on and pick the best for the cover of their wedding album. Also take a few group photographs involving their parents, brothers and sisters and close friends.
