Lord Teach Me To Study The Bible In 28 Days
Dr. Ibrahim Khalil
The Old Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about God and Isaac would bless Jacob if he did not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan. Does God encourage racism too?
The New Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see Jesus' sepulchre, there was a great earthquake; they saw lightning and an angel. As they went to tell his disciples, Jesus met them.
The Noble Quran Verses from 1-10 are talking about some of the story of Moses and Pharaoh. In this story, the leader of Pharaoh's hosts was called Haman. He was an evil man. Haman is not found in the story of Moses in the Bible.
Old Testament:
Chapter 28 in the Old Testament is Genesis 28; it is composed of 22 verses.
Verses from 1-10 are talking about God and Isaac would bless Jacob if he did not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan. Does God encourage racism too?
Genesis 28 (King James Version)
1] And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.
2] Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughers of Laban thy mother's brother.
3] And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;
4] And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.
5] And Isaac sent away Jacob: and he went to Padanaram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob's and Esau's mother.
6] When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughers of Canaan;
7] And that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Padanaram;
8] And Esau seeing that the daughters of Canaan pleased not Isaac his father;
9] Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.
10] And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.

New Testament
Chapter 28 in the New Testament is Matthew 28; it is composed of 20 verses.
Verses from 1-10 are talking about Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see Jesus' sepulchre, there was a great earthquake; they saw lightning and an angel. As they went to tell his disciples, Jesus met them.
Matthew 28 (King James Version)
1] In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2] And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3] His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4] And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5] And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6] He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7] And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8] And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9] And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10] Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

The Noble Quran:
Chapter 28 in the Noble Quran is composed of 88 verses.
Verses from 1-10 are talking about some of the story of Moses and Pharaoh. In this story, the leader of Pharaoh's hosts was called Haman. He was an evil man. Haman is not found in the story of Moses in the Bible.
[1] Ta, Sin, Mim.
[2] These are Verses of the Book that makes (things) clear.
[3] We rehearse to thee some of the story of Moses and Pharaoh in Truth, for people who believe.
[4] Truly Pharaoh elated himself in the land and broke up its people into sections, depressing a small group among them: their sons he slew, but he kept alive their females: for he was indeed a maker of mischief.
[5] And We wished to be gracious to those who were being depressed on the land, to make them leaders (in faith) and make them heirs,
[6] To establish a firm place for them in the land, and to show Pharaoh, Haman, and their hosts, at their hands, the very things against which they were taking precautions.
[7] So We sent this inspiration to the mother of Moses: "Suckle (thy child), but when thou hast fears about him, cast him into the river, but fear not nor grieve: for We shall restore him to thee, and We shall make him one of Our Messengers."
[8] Then the people of Pharaoh picked him up (from the river): (it was intended) that (Moses) should be to them an adversary and a cause of sorrow: for Pharaoh and Haman and (all) their hosts were men of sin.
[9] The wife of Pharaoh said: "(Here is) a joy of the eye, for me and for thee: Slay him not. It may be that he will be of use to us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceived not (what they were doing)!
[10] But there came to be a void in the heart of the mother of Moses: she was going almost to disclose his (case), had We not strengthened her heart (with faith), so that she might remain a (firm) believer.
