As I'm sure you already know by now, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is now available for purchase in the US! Have you picked up your copy yet? If you have not picked up this hit game, now is the time to grab one of the best video games ever created. Yes, it is basically the same concept as the first two Super Smash Brothers games. However, Super Smash Bros Brawl was created for the Wii console and ups the ante with several exciting new modes and wireless features.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl Features

Brawl has a ton of features to keep you entertained. The best feature would have to be the online battles. By logging onto Wi-Fi Connection, players can now enjoy online battles with friends from all over. The downside to the online battles is the friend code requirement. You can email your friends to get the twelve-digit code, but if your friends do not have the game, then what? Some have started a petition to stop the use of friend codes.

More features include a new single player mode which is perfect for solo brawlers who want to test and master their skills. An adventure mode called "The Subspace Emissary" lets players fight their way through rival filled levels, meet up with other characters and take on each boss. The Smash Bros. legendary action-packed battles that pit up to four players against one another in a brawl to see who's the last one standing. And a huge addition being the "Final Smash" which is a secret skill that can be performed but once...and only after obtaining an item called the Smash Ball.

Sonic the Hedgehog is a playable character

The roster of characters on board Super Smash Bros. Brawl is genius. You have your veteran fighters such as Mario, Link, Pikachu and Kirby. Then you have the newcomers like Snake, Lucas and Pit. However, none of these characters can compare, in my opinion, to the best video game icon ever created, Sonic the Hedgehog. And what's better than the legendary character, Sonic the Hedgehog being added as a playable character? I would say it's that you finally get to fight to the finish against long time rival, Super Mario!

Unlock Sonic and check out his moves

Sonic is an unlockable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. If you get a chance to unlock him, you can see that he uses his signature speed and his moves are mainly variations on his signature spin-dash. Sonic's special moves includes his standard move the Homing Attack, his side move Spin Dash, the Spring Jump, the Spin Charge and his final smash, the Super Sonic. I think Super Sonic was a good choice for his final smash. He uses the power of Chaos Emeralds to transform and race through the air at lightning fast speed.

Sonic Smash Brothers online game

If you are a fan of both Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Smash Brothers games, then you will love the online game, Sonic Smash Brothers. It is an online fighting game similar to Super Smash Flash, except this flash game only features playable Sonic characters. Game play includes an adventure mode, single matches, various challenges and a practice mode to test your skills. When you complete adventure mode with each character, you unlock other characters. You can also unlock more characters through various challenges as you advance through the game. Sonic Smash Brothers is a must play for all Sonic fans and Super Smash Bros. Brawl fans.
