A couple of years earlier than the Ron Paul ?Revolution? resonating across the American landscape, Chevy was selling cars and trucks by positioning themselves as a ?Chevy Revolution? which was pretty revolutionary compared to ?baseball, hot dogs, applie pie and Chevrolet?
In the last two years, the word ?revolution? has been part of the advertising lingo many more times.
Of course, the real revolution was the occurance of the internet.
Webster's definitions for the word ?revolution? include
1.a sudden, radical, or complete change
2.activity or movement designed to effect fundamental changes in the socioeconomic situation
3.fundamental change in the way of thinking about or visualizing something : a change of paradigm
4. a changeover in use or preference especially in technology
And then there is the definition having to do with the overthrow of the government by a new one.
But the Ron Paul Revolution is more properly situated in the preceding definitions as it is about making a change in policy.
What is interesting though, and a very validating statement about human nature, is that the closer we get to the heart of man, by facilitating communication through technology, the more we find freedom loving views and a yearning for freedom. Of course, that brings with it some consequences as there are people who abuse those freedoms with pornography, hate speech and other antisocial actions. But such people are outnumbered. 80% of the people or more love cell phones, the internet, text messaging and so forth because of the freedom that it gives them and the way that it facilitates communication and makes them and their friends more accessible. And THAT, dear reader, IS a revolution by any of the four definitions listed above.
GAS PRICE WAR ON THE WORKING CLASS SPARKS REVOLUTION OF NEW TECHNOLOGY
There is one particular revolution that is rapidly gaining momentum and that was inevitable. Farmers in Iowa are in a situation where they are reliant upon a monster that is killing them. They need government subsidies in order to survive. But government regulations are wiping out the small farmer in favor of larger corporate farms. The same situation has existed for all of us at the gas pump. The gas companies have had us dependent upon them while they have been lifting gas prices while they have made billions of dollars in profit. Something had to give and it has. Many car owners are now opting out of financial slavery to the gas companies and are declaring their independence by converting their car engines from gas to hydrogen fully or partially.
If you make a partial conversion you might get 30% gas performance . If you do a full conversion then you are looking at never having to pay a penny or pump a gas pump ever again. Do this and you will have joined the revolution!
