Heroes Season 3 Ending
Buddytv
Gilsig is no stranger to serial TV and is a familiar face to audiences. She was a regular enough fixture on the medical drama, Nip/Tuck, as the HIV positive sex addict, Gina Russo, opposite Julian McMahon's Christian Troy. She also did a tour of duty as Lauren Davis in David E. Kelley's Boston Public, as well as turns in NYPD Blue, Prison Break and Friday Night Lights.
Gilsig's first appearance on Heroes took place in the first season episode entitled ?The Fix.? The said installment showed Gilsig's character Meredith, with her own extraordinary abilities, specifically pyrokinesis. A back story went on to show Meredith and her then 18-month old child were believed and reported to have perished in a fire. Mr. Bennet, played by Dynasty alum Jack Coleman, subsequently took the baby and raised her as his own daughter, Claire. While her child grew up in the care of the Bennet family, Meredith, who was responsible for the blaze, relocated to Mexico. After staying there for a while, she eventually left Mexico and moved to Kermit, Texas.
In ?Distractions,? Meredith and Claire cross paths for the first time since being separated following the fire. Their encounter prompted Meredith to get in touch with Claire's real father, whom we discover is none other than Adrian Pasdar's Nathan Petrelli. When Meredith informs him that their daughter survived the inferno years ago and is alive, well and endowed with her own gift, Nathan dangled a hundred grand to ensure Meredith kept her mouth shut to keep from ruining his political agenda.
Fans only have till September 22 to wait and see what the new season of Heroes will reveal about Claire, Nathan, Meredith and the rest of our Heroes and villains. Season 3 gets underway starting with an hour-long clip show at 8pm, followed by the two-hour premiere at 9pm.
