What better way to express love and care to expecting parents than to create a totally homemade birthday gift basket. If you feel that the parents need consumer products that the baby can use, by all means throw in a few baby bottles, milk and even diapers. There is no hard and fast rule on what you should be included in a birthday gift basket. The thought and action of doing such a thing is good enough.

Furthermore, when it comes to packaging, it is always better to choose medium sized ones. You may decorate it with colorful ribbons, tiny balloons, flowers or trinkets and bells to add to the festive theme. The packaging is just as important as what is inside so take a little time to make it nice and beautiful. Be sure to add a small dedication card too, you would not want it to get lost after all the hard work you put into it.
