It happened just in the twentieth century that the concepts of modern house designers started being appreciated by society. Actually only the end of the century marked their rise. Before that contemporary interior design stayed beyond people's interests. Anyway, what's the point in being a specialist if you don't imagine how to display to people the sense of your absolutely special bathroom designs or if you can't get an appealing photo of some exclusive ceiling design? Anyway, don't be too sad. We offer 5 tips to change the way you present art.
1. Showing art on the floor Why apply walls as the single place where you can display pictures? Try bending pictures against the wall or some piece of furniture while they are just on the floor! It can also be wonderful to combine 2 pieces of art of differing parameters. You may lean one on the other so that most of the art is visible with a feeling of slight naturalness.
2. Using shelves and gallery ledges for showing pictures Think of a long gallery slat on your wall. You may arrange images on all the extent of it. The arrangement of images can give various effects if you make some paintings overlap the others. Front position is preferable for small pictures, don't forget of it if your pictures are of different parameters. These all will also work in case you wish to place the paintings over the fireplace.
3. Hang paintings unexpectedly You can anytime try some interesting method to display your pictures as an alternative to simply hanging them on the wall. Try some horizontal bar that may be fixed on the wall quite close to the ceiling. The painting must be held with a couple of ropes. Every string links the edge of the painting with the horizontal bar for the piece of art to keep its location. Placing several pictures on such a hanging apparatus you can turn your interior into a true art gallery.
4. Hang pieces of art on ribbons If you hang 2 or three heavy ribbons 1/2 or three quarters the size of the wall you'll be ok to place your paintings originally. The pictures are to be tied to the ribbons in random order and then they just hang. Pictures set on the ribbons bring some pleasant atmosphere to the interior. In other case you may use 1 band for each of several paintings. One end of the ribbon is attached on the wall close to the ceiling while the other is knotted on painting corners at the top of the framework. The remaining end of the ribbon is tied to the main part of the ribbon hanging. Make the band look as a triangular hanger, it can be easily adjusted.
5. Accordance of one level to the other You'd rather draw an imaginary line over the wall if you wish to demonstrate a number of paintings on it. You may check if the pictures are set correctly or wrong with the use of a small leveling gauge. And if you get some 2-sided tape or adhesive clay and stick it to the side corners your pictures will be safe from tilting to one side.
