Located 90 minutes from New York City, along a beautiful scenic drive, the 60-acre Holiday Mountain Ski & Fun Park is a popular area for both family skiing and fun activities, combined with an atmosphere that is warm and friendly, and caters to families. With beginner areas and spectacular "Snow Sports School" for ages 4 to 6, outstanding family time is available on Thursdays and Saturdays. Plans are now being made to build a new ski chalet at the bottom of the slopes, and plans to break-ground for a new hotel and water park are being made within the next two years. With 100% snowmaking due to the low 90 inches of annual snowfall there is always a day for skiing. The top elevation of Holiday Mountain is 1,300 feet with a vertical drop of 400 feet. . Popular with the younger crowd, it has fourteen ski trails available with 9 lifts, which consist of 5-1 triple, 2 doubles, and 2 surface lifts. There are 15 trails for beginners, intermediate skiers, and expert skiers. While skiing and snowboarding are the main attractions, there is much more here as well, including bumper cars, an arcade, and a mechanical bull. There is always something to do at Holiday Mountain Ski Resort for everyone. Even for those who do not or cannot ski, the ride up the summit offers a feeling of excitement and fun.

The Holiday Mountain Ski & Snowboard Club at the resort is open to all school age children, or anyone who wants to become a better skier. It has become one of the largest, most successful racing programs in the East, having a developmental team to professionally train young people, from the beginner level to the alpine racer level. The first year teaches basic ski skills and the use of lifts, while following years teach skiing and racing skills.
