This way they'll get to see the buying power money has and you can teach them how to shop like a smart consumer.

If you want, you can also teach your kids how to put aside some money in a budget of his or her very own. This is probably the best way to teach responsibility to your kids as it lets them see exactly how much they spend and how much they need to lessen. It also allows them to set aside for things that they might need in the future.

You have to make sure as well that they see the disadvantages of spending all your money irresponsibly. Your kid needs to learn to start being responsible because you'll never know when you'll need some money in the future.
