Retro ice bags are ice packs that can be used with hot water or cold, chilled water. The designs and concept harken back to an earlier time when headaches, bruises, hangovers, menstrual cramps and other aches were mostly treated without medicine. It's true that what's old is new and retro ice packs have made a stunning comeback.

A lot of people are concerned with the side effects that certain pain relief medications might have on them, especially if used too often. I have a few different ice packs that I use depending on what the situation calls for. My children prefer the more kid-friendly designs like the Teddy Bear ice pack for their bruises.
