Islam The Straight Path
Dr. Ibrahim Khalil
The Last verse in chapter (42) of the Old Testament talks about Jacob said (unto his sons), my son shall not go down with you; if mischief befalls him I will go to the grave.
The Last verse in chapter (42) of the New Testament talks about Peter denied Jesus three times.
The Last verse in chapter (42) of the Noble Quran talks about 1) Islam is the straight path to Allah, 2) to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and 3) all and everything return at the end to Allah.

Genesis 42: 38 (King James Version)
38)" And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave."

========
The Noble Quran:
Chapter 42 in the Noble Quran is ASH-SHURA (COUNCIL); it is composed of 53 verses.
The Last verse is that number 53
It says:
ASH-SHURA 42: 53
53) "[and you (Prophet Muhammad), surely guide to a straight path.]; the path of Allah, to whom belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. surely, to Allah all things return. Do not all things reach Allah at last?"
The verse is talking about 1) Islam is the straight path to Allah, 2) to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and 3) all and everything return at the end to Allah.
The verse means that: And verily you guide, you are summoning people, by means of what is revealed to you, to a straight path, a straight way: the religion of Islam, the path of Allah, the religion of Allah; to Whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, as possessions, creatures and servants.
Surely with the Lord all matters end. Do not all things reach Allah at last? The consequences of all things in the Hereafter reach to the Wise Sovereign'. Surely to Allah do all affairs eventually come?

Back to the main issue of my series of articles; this is my question to you smart readers: "Is the Quran quoted from the Bible?"
