Johnny Test is a cartoon character who lives with his sisters in a town known as Porkbelly. His sisters, Susan and Mary, try to fight to win the heart of a Gil, who is there next door neighbor, and in their efforts to do so they test their ideas on their brother Johnny. Johnny has a talking dog called Dukey who plays the role of a friend to Johnny. Dukey, despite being able to talk, also has natural dog like tendencies ? these include marking territory, an attraction to female dogs, a hatred for cats and a love for bones!
Unlike most families the Test family has a mom who works and acts almost like a stereotypical dad figure, while the father is extremely clean and therefore shows more women like characteristics. The Test family is not without boundaries to overcome. Certain evil characters attempt to set their life off-track. These include ?Bling-Bling Boy? who has a secret crush on one of Johnny's sisters and will not let ethics get in his way. There is also the evil Mole King (who detests light) and the teenagers obsessed with the word extreme called The X-Treme Teen Team.
