Popularity is increasing for a natural allergy treatment for a lot of us because of side effects caused by prescriptions. It seems that more allergy sufferers are affected each year similar to the growth rate of serious diseases like those plaguing our nation now. Luckily there is an powerful allergy treatment found in a natural botanical.
This botanical reaches into numerous areas of your body and works on areas needing the most attention, while correcting allergy troubles at the same time. There are hundreds of years of folk lore and tons of scientific work behind it, and more research is in the planning stages. Some studies are focusing on one specific nutrient called the xanthone. There are about 200 xanthones we are aware of, which are usually found in wood, and over 40 found in a fruit called mangosteen. (not related to Mango)
Get Tested For Allergies
By going for an allergy test you'll grasp what to avoid in your diet or what to stay away from. This is obvious but neccesary, and doing that will begin your allergy treatment. There are also allergens you're forced to deal with so the next step is to increace natural allergy resistance.
A properly prescribed allergy treatment will do away with discomfort, moderate the severity and possibly even control your symptoms completly. Unfortunately, most prescriptions can only mask the symptoms and in some cases don't do a proper job. If your allergies are serious and life threatening, then you should probably carry an Epi-Pen with you and keep it up to date each year.
In north america our health system is unbeaten in many respects, but lacking in other areas. Many Doctors will never own up they don't understand your problem and resort to prescriptions because of their training. If they knew of an effective natural allergy treatment, they would want you to know about it.
A Point To Consider
With the long list of allergens that could set off your allergies, how much help is a pill when it's just an antihistamine? It makes more sense when a natural allergy treatment is helping rebuild your bodies immune system. Especially when part of the treatment is anti-inflammitory to help relieve symptoms that bother you the most. It's even better when it's from a fruit that has a combination of synergistic nutrients.
The natural allergy treatment I'm reffering to is found in the Mangosteen fruit. Highly revered for its medicinal qualities, it contains a powerful nutrient called the xanthone. It's a powerful antioxidant that controls a wide range of healing functions. It's a double bonded molucule with side chains, and each side chain can work on a different health problem.
Get To Know Xanthones
It's imperative to know why a double bonded molucule is meaningful, especially when it comes to treating your allergies. Xanthones have a skeletal structure (the double bond) and side chains. Each side chain can work with a different ailment and when active in your body will search for pathogens like viruses and parasites to destroy them. It will also strenthen vital organs by helping your immune system.
A double bonded molucule is more powerful than an average molucule, not like antioxidants that are used up immediatly on first contact with a free radical for instance. Because of the skeletal structure, the side chains are anywhere from 20 to 30 times more powerful than antioxidants found in raw foods. What's trully amazing is how it out performs concentrated extracts like co-enzyme Q10 for instance.
The Easy To Swallow Allergy Treatment
Now that mangosteen is becoming known in doctors offices, they are begining to prescribe mangosteen first and pills later if a condition persists. The number of Doctors even aware of mangosteen is minimal, but you can let your doctor know so he can investigate.
Do you remember back in the late 70's when aloe vera first came out? It quickly became a commonly known name and every mother had a plant in the house for scrapes and cuts. Today you can look around in most health foods stores and see numerous brands of aloe vera sitting on the shelf. Aloe Vera has one xanthone, Mangosteen has 43 and counting!
Some Mangosten Facts
While most of these elements can be found in many other fruits and vegetables, xanthones set mangosteen apart from all others. A study done in India found that the Mangosteen rind suppressed acute inflammation as well as swelling in rats. It also inhibited systemic anaphylaxis in guniea pigs and rats. The most studied xanthones are the alpha-mangostin, gamma-mangostin, and garcinone-E. They have demonstrated antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor properties. The majority of xanthones in Mangosteen are found in the rind which is very bitter tasting by itself, so that may be why it didn't go commercial until just recently.
