The normal low at the beginning of the month is 39, and is 44 by the end of the month. The record lows as between 17 and 25, although most of those occurred before Las Vegas was developed fully. So you can leave your shorts and your bathing suit home, but you can still encounter some weather that is warm enough to encourage outdoor activities. Bring a light jacket, a heavier jacket, and a hat if you are expecting to spend time outdoors.

The Grand Canyon has different weather, depending on whether you are visiting the rim or you are down in the canyon itself.

By the time NASCAR arrives at the end of the month the February weather in Las Vegas can be very pleasant, and give everyone a glimpse of the great weather months to come. So visit Las Vegas in February, the weather is usually pretty good and Las Vegas is great, even on a bad weather day. But also plan on coming back in late April, when the weather is at its best.
