While waiting in a queue at the Apparel Store, I could not stop staring at the watch on the wrist of this beautiful woman in front of me. It was Rolex President in gold with diamonds. Next to it was a David Yurman gold cuff bracelet. Then I noticed her clothes. To my surprise, her clothes were so simple, casual and unbranded. She wore a floral blouse, a wrap skirt and sandals. An unusual blend and a very interesting mix of high & low and I am here thinking of her and talking about her.

In the past several decades we have lived through high brands, low brands & no brands. We have learnt to move easily between the high & the low and accept what we need in a more practical sense.
