Humor and funny jokes can cause an effect of joy and amusement as well as set off a number of positive physical effects. Our health benefits of jokes and humor in a great extent. It activates the chemistry of the will to live and increases our capacity to fight disease. A good hearty laugh help us to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, elevate mood, boost immune system, improve brain functioning, protect the heart, foster instant relaxation and make us feel good. If laughter is the best medicine, then why should not we bring humor and laughter into our lives as therapy? Ironically we laugh least when we need it most. Depression, stress and pain often rob us of the healing humor of jokes that can transform our state. Though laughing may be the last thing we feel like doing, it will do us the world of good. When we laugh at our pain, worries, troubles and perceived inadequacies, we dissolve our maximum tension.
Jokes, funny jokes are such that they have become an integral part of our lives. Really funny jokes have an amusing power to make laughs and have an ability to relax the whole atmosphere creating a jolly ambience. We get a lot of social benefits from jokes and humor. Our work atmosphere, marriage and family all need humor. Funny jokes and good laughter bind the relationships together, lighten our burdens and help us keep things in perspective. Laughter acts as the shortest distance between all relationships. It unites us, especially when we laugh together. Cracking jokes at work place relieves us from stress situations and workload. It increases our energy and with increased energy we may perform activities that we might otherwise avoid. But lacking humor will cause one’s thought process to stagnate, leading to increased distress. So, Jokes is good for mental health as it makes us feel good. Cracking jokes is just fine but they shouldn’t hurt someone’s feelings. Some people love to crack jokes on themselves to make people laugh, that is really amusing. While telling jokes you must take care of few things: Use jokes at the expense of yourself or a group, you are part of. Don’t use jokes when someone is in pain especially when someone is physically injured or in serious crisis. Use funny clean jokes that everyone present can enjoy. Adult humor or dirty jokes in presence of children is unhealthy for children and troublesome for their parents. That is why it is important to check the joke material according to the audience first.
Jokes are funnier when actions or gestures are applied. Remember gesture sounds more than words. Generally, people believe that irony and sarcasm are main elements of humor. So, if one doesn’t have a sarcastic sense of humor, then he shouldn’t try to crack jokes. Actually the rule holds good for all kinds of jokes, if one don’t find a joke interesting or funny, then shouldn’t bother telling it either. The truth is that a joke seems funny, if the audience can understand it. So, go ahead laughing and making others laugh through your funny jokes. So the world could fill with joy and happiness.
