It is more like advertising and you have to pay, but it will bring you great exposure to your business.

Other notable directories are: Romow.com, Odp.in, Dirsnap.com, Authoritydirectory.com and many more. Another way to have your site listed is to write articles, or have them written by others you pay, and submit them with your business website to article directories, like articlemarketer.com, article-dashboard.com or ezinearticles.com.

Just search google for web directory, or business directory and it will show you up an endless list.
