You regularly clean your face. You wash your face and body with soft cleansing soap. You try to put off the extra oil coming out of your skin with ointments containing benzoyl peroxide. You also eat a few doses of medicines available over the counter. Yet acnes are not ready to vacate your skin. They love to envelop it wherever they have got the opportunity. So is it the time you must now see a doctor?
Certainly you must see a skin specialist or a dermatologist by now. Don't leave your acnes untreated to turn them into an adverse condition.
First symptom to see a doctor
Till you are having small and round pimples or blackheads, you can carry on with your self treatment procedures. But when you find the shape of your pimple taking a wavy form or an angular turn, be careful. This is the premonition that the acne will gradually form acne scars.
The first indication either lies in the shape or in the color of the skin. Generally when the change is initially seen, the face is found to be filled with pits. Gradually those pits deepen and form patches of scars all over. Your original layer of skin then peeps through this scarring contour which looks peculiar. It makes your appearance darker and unpleasant.
You also face an acute problem of inflammation. The state of your unhealthy skin makes you prudently feel disgusting. And if by this time you don't take the decision of visiting the doctor you will fall in a severe trouble. Who knows you might have to undergo dermabrasion to get the scars cured?
Women suffer more
Young girls must be very careful if acnes start spotting on their skin. Drink plenty of water and keep your internal system clean. Keep your skin clean and avoid extra coatings of cosmetics. Go for a natural and herbal treatment when pimples start coming up.
It is very fine if you can say bye to acne in this way. But if you find that there has been a change in your hormonal secretions in your body which is leading to menstrual problems, immediately visit to a doctor. Even growth of unwanted hair on face or body must be brought into the notice of the doctor.
Fever with acne needs doctor's supervision
When severe acne on your body starts swelling, there is a high chance of suffering from high fever. In such a situation you must not delay to consult a doctor. The acnes must have taken the shape of acute skin infection. A doctor can only find out what's really wrong and give you the right solution for cure.
