Many recent studies have shown that increasing the body's levels of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) can reverse or delay biological aging.
As we enter our 20's our bodies start to produce reducing amounts of HGH. This in turn leads to a multitude of detrimental side-effects such as more body fat, reduce immunity to infection and disease, bad skin, reduced sexual libido, and many other signs that we usually relate to the aging process.
It was once believed that aging pituitary glands didn't have the capacity to produce large amounts of HGH. However, more recent studies have shown that a maturing pituitary gland is capable of producing as much HGH as when it was younger, if it is adequately stimulated.
In clinical trials, increased HGH has been shown to give:
Average increased muscle mass of almost 9% over six months (no exercise)
An average 14% fat-reduction (over six months, and with no dieting)
Superior immune function
Rapid wound healing
Better sleep
Improved vision
Raise energy levels
Better sexual performance
Greater cardiac performance
Improved exercise capability
Improved kidney function
Blood pressure reduced
Improved cholesterol profile
Stronger bones
Younger, thicker skin
Hair re-growth, or reduced loss
Wrinkle-reduction
Reduction or even Elimination of cellulite
Mood Improvements
Better memory
A modest increase in HGH levels can be achieved naturally by some people, by exercise, careful attention to diet, and by reducing their body weight to optimum levels. But for most of us this is not a solution we can manage to achieve.
Injections of pure HGH can be used to raise HGH levels but this is pretty expensive. To keep prices reasonable, most HGH supplements on the market contain very low levels of HGH, frequently too low to have a lasting effect. These products achieve their results by delivering mixtures of herbs and homeopathic remedies which naturally nudge the pituitary into greater performance.
Recent research indicates that the best method of elevating HGH levels in the body is to stimulate the body to produce more HGH. Rather than directly introduce a large (and expensive) amount of pure HGH into the body, it is possible to stimulate your own pituitary gland to produce more HGH.
If you accept the need, or at least desirability to raise your HGH levels and fend off Old Father Time, the question is then raised of how to achieve it. This usually comes down to mundane considerations like cost and convenience. If cost is no problem, then HGH injections will be the best way, although the bother and stress of constant injections is off-putting to most.
The alternative for the rest of us is to choose a proprietary product, all of them aim to re-stimulate the pituitary to operate at a higher level. Some of them use with pills, tablets or capsules, others use into-the-mouth sprays. A few HGH products DO include a small amount of genuine HGH to improve their effect, but unfortunately government regulatory restrictions keep this is a small amount.
In a later article I will discuss the pros and cons of each method of HGH application. For now I will leave you with a warning: TAKE CARE!
It is difficult to recognize a genuine HGH Product from a spurious one, just by looking. Sugar capsules can be designed to look precisely like the real thing, also sugar-water, and copying the packaging isn't too difficult either. Always obtain your HGH (whatever the form) from a country with regulations that are rigidly enforced. At the head of such a list will be: USA , Canada, UK, European Community. Don't take this to mean that all else is tarnished, far from it. But please be very careful!
