How To Radiant Heat
Michael Singer
This technologically advanced idea combines reliability, safety and efficiency for the ideal heating system perfect for home or office. With the easy installation of a thin, 1/16 inch, bronze electrically conductive screen, warmth is only minutes away.
By providing an environmentally friendly, clean and energy efficient solution, Zmesh heat is quickly becoming a popular alternative heating method. And by delivering unparalleled heating, this simple mesh is backed by an industry-leading 25-year warranty.
From floor heat to roof deicing, this system has been successfully employed across the country since 1979, offering consistent heat to floors and rooms as well as driveways and sidewalks. In addition to the warmth provided, Zmesh eliminates the liabilities of falling ice and snow from roofs or slick ice and snow on the ground.
Inexpensive and simple in operation, concrete and asphalt radiant heat systems offer convenience without ruining the landscape or roofing material already in place. To eliminate icicles and ice dams otherwise present on most rooftops, low voltage radiant heat can be used for most roof deicing applications. For such deicing needs, Zmesh nine-inch screens in lengths of 50, 100 and 250 feet do the job well.
Cut to length rather than being distributed at a certain fixed length puts Zmesh ahead of its radiant heat or high voltage competitors. Being able to adjust the length of the screen is a simple solution to heat a very specific area rather than requiring a certain area to adjust to that heat.
For roof deicing endeavors, it is installed over the ice and water shield under the shingles, so the original design of the roof is never compromised. Easy to install because it can be nailed or stapled without harming the screen, Zmesh is a unique and refreshing way to deice.
Inside the home, electric radiant floor heat is efficient, quiet and able to heat entire rooms or add floor heat to precise areas. Installation is a simple process of retrofitting the Zmesh to an existing floor or building it into newly constructed homes.
Such floor heating elements provide a maximum of 11 watts of heat per linear foot and measure 12 inches wide mesh screens at lengths from 50 to 350 feet.
Also unlike its competitors, Zmesh can be easily repaired if cut or damaged with a customized copper splice plate and solider. No other line voltage or hydronic radiant heat source can be so quickly or easily repaired.
In addition, floor build-up is of little to no concern here. The screen can be installed on top of the sub floor or below the floor covering with only the slightest change in floor height. At 1/16th of an inch thick and requiring no concrete or cement bed, the mesh provides heat without extensive installation. No framing or concrete is ever necessary.
A personally customized Zmesh heating system will undoubtedly outlast and outperform any alternative warming solution. Rising in popularity by the day, this advanced idea is warming floors, driveways and walkways across the U.S.
