That is not to say that every item you are looking to buy will be cheaper on every site you look at, there are still tried and trusted methods you have to use to find that bargain.

These types of site allow you to compare prices from a range of shops that stock the item you are after. They are a good starting place to begin looking and at least give you a rough idea on the type of prices you can pay online. What they do not necessarily do is list any potential offers or bargains that may be happening for that day or include postage and packaging and more often than not they, do not have access to all the shops that stock your item.

Once you have found an online shop you like, have a look to see if they are having a sale or have a clearance section that may just have your item at a knock down price.

Discount, Promotions and Voucher Codes:

Before paying for your item, a lot of online stores will have a little box marked as promotion, discount or voucher code. There are sites on the internet that often supply codes that you can use on these sections of the checkout process that allow you to save even more money on your purchase that could include a further 10% discount or free delivery. To find these codes, try typing in to your favourite search engine your shop name followed by discount code or promo code or voucher code. More often than not you will find a site supplying a code for the particular site you are about to buy from.

Ebay and Amazon:

Try looking at Ebay or Amazon to try and bag yourself a bargain. Often you find people are selling the exact item you are after but at a much cheaper price than on a regular online store. Second items are easy to pick up from both Amazon and Ebay and more ofen then not, they are just as good as a new item that will not be able to tell the difference from.
