Good proteins to choose from include beef, poultry, eggs, salmon, legumes and sprouts.
Drink lots of water - up to 12 glasses a day. If you like coffee or tea are beneficial too as caffeine increases the metabolic rate, meaning you'll lose fat quicker.
Eat slowly as it takes at least twenty minutes for your body to feel satisfied. You should cut your meals into six smaller meals instead of three large ones.
Exercise regularly. This helps in burning extra calories and helps in keeping you fit! However, you shouldn't over do it. Building up muscle is a great way to burn extra fat.
Stress is one of the reasons people gain weight around their mid-section. If you need to trim your tummy, you have to cut the stress out of your life first. Pick a satisfying stress-free activity, and do it three times a week. Examples are walking, reading and meditating.
