Realistically due to our differences, there is no magic "pill" to losing pregnancy weight. Life is what you make it so make the decision to start and commit to getting back in shape by living a healthy lifestyle. Here are some simple steps to help you on your way to a higher quality of life.
New moms have become accustomed to seeing how incredibly fast the Celeb mums were able to lose their pregnancy weight. But for most moms having a baby takes a toll on them emotionally and physically. Paparazzi pictures of Jessica Alba in skinny jeans within a few weeks of her baby's birth can persuade most women to console themselves with junk food.
Pregnancy differs from woman to woman and so is losing the pregnancy weight. Is there a fast way to losing pregnancy weight without having a team of experts like the Celeb moms? Yes. The key is to locate and execute the exercises that work for you.
1. Exercise During and After Your Pregnancy
As long as you have be given clearance from you doctor, you can start having fun and getting fit by signing up for a yoga or relaxation class for pregnant women. Low impact exercises like swimming or walking prepares your body to quickly lose the baby fat after giving birth. Frequent workouts will help you in losing the majority of your pregnancy weight within 2 months or longer depending on your body.
2. Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding helps some but not all women in losing pregnancy weight. Weight loss aside, breastfeeding ensures that you will maintain a well balanced diet for your baby's health. Breastfeeding takes about 500 calories per day to feed your newborn and this will cause you to burn the excess baby fat to maintain the amount of energy you will require and use. But whichever way you choose to feed your baby, make sure you eat healthy foods and drink lots of water.
3. Watch your Pregnancy Weight Gain
Being pregnant is not a "free pass" to go a head and eat whatever you want. Have you noticed that the Celeb moms only gain "baby weight" during their pregnancy? The logic is that if you gain a healthy pregnancy weight, the more quickly you'll be losing pregnancy weight because most of it will be the baby and the placenta. Check in with your doctor to find out your recommended weight gain and don't go over it.
4. Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle
