There are literally hundreds of anti aging skin care products on the market, but finding one effective antiaging skin cream is still difficult. Most of us shop in department stores. Without some background information, we have only the advertising hype to guide us. First let's talk about collagen.

Over time, production of human collagen does diminish, but there are some anti aging skin care ingredients that actually increase the body's production of the fibers. You see collagens are actually proteins woven into a complex mesh. This mesh facilitates the skin's mechanical freedom, its fluidity of movement. Typically collagen reaches its peak production around the mid thirties and gradually declines into its poor wrinkled structure from that point on.

But, a new antiaging skin cream has been clinically proven to increase collagen production, by giving the body the proteins that it needs to continue weaving and repairing the mesh. The proteins are called keratin and hyaluronic acid. You don't want just any keratin, though. You want "functional" keratin which is created using a patented process that makes it readily available to the cells on the outside of the body.
