When applying an affiliate program, one puts a banner on their website promoting a similar e-commerce business. Visitors who click the banner and purchase something earn you a commission on the sale, sometimes as high as seventy five percent.

Affiliate programs work especially well on blogs. For example, if you blog about television, an appropriate affiliate program would be one which sells software enabling users to watch TV on their computers.
