Try to avoid other people as much as possible as well, because powerful kite lines can cause serious injuries to innocent bystanders. Two other very important safety rules are to never fly a kite in a storm or when there are signs that a storm is coming and never tie yourself to a kite in any circumstance. You never know when the wind or weather could change without warning and you could endure serious injuries.
