How To Get A Six Pack In A Week
Gordon Holmes
Sorry to disappoint you, but there is simply no way to achieve that goal. If someone or some product claims they have the "secret" to how to get a six pack in a week, you should run and not walk from their advice!
Don't be hopeless yet, follow the following rules and you should be able to see improvements in your abdominals in a month. Most people can get to the goal of having a nice, firm six abs in 3 months. Ready? Here we go...
STEP 1 - Diet
Eat plenty of leafy greens, whole grain breads and pastas, lean protiens (important!) and healthy fats like olive oil and nuts. Avoid simple carbohydrates, bad fats, sweets and alcohols. Try to eat 5 to 6 small meals throughout the day. This help you keep you metabolism up so you can burn more calories.
STEP 2-- Cardio cardio and more cardio!
Most people who want to know how to get a six pack in a week only focus on their abdominals muscle training, totally neglecting the cardio parts of the workout. What it does is that a lot of the time they overwork the abs muscle underneath. Combined with the layers of fat sitting on top of a set of largely built abdominal muscles, it is not a good look.
So starting running! Or swimming, rowing I don't care. Just do some fricking cardio exercise! Aim to do at least 2 to 3 times of intensive cardio per week and you should be good to go.
STEP 3-- Last but not least, you need to learn the correct way to train your abs. You can't just do endless sets of sit-ups alone. This won't give you a six pack look. You will only end up looking like the guy who tries to suck in his gut on the beach.
In order to avoid that unpleasant look, you need to work your love handles (your obliques) as well as your pooch (lower abs) 2 to 3 sets a session. 3 to 4 times a week. You don't even need to work them everyday. Alternate your cardio and weight-training days if you can. Let your abs rest in between. Also make sure you get lots of sleep.
So there you have it to the question "how to get a six pack in a week". Follow this plan thoroughly for a month and you WILL start seeing your abs show! I promise!
