Our world is a celebrity obsessed one. There are reports programs dedicated wholly to the lives of stars, and weekly periodicals that comment on every event in their lives both professional and private. Famous people cannot afford any degree of privacy. In this case, common sense would tell anybody that he or she should conduct him- or herself in the most respectable way at all times. Majority of celebrities, however, do not seem to realize it. Therefore, here are some rules celebrities should really follow.

1) Do not cheat on their husbands or wives. It does not mean that they are meant to be morally superior, or they have to be a positive example. The thing is that with such a high level of public control celebrities are sure to get caught.

2) Do not commit a crime. Celebrities` criminal mistakes are the dreams of publishers of all the celebrity magazines. There are whole internet pages and websites entirely dedicated to embarrassing photos of entertainers. Prior to taking a prostitute, purchasing illegal drugs, or driving under the influence of forbidden substances, they should think about future interviews when they have to explain how these less than flattering pictures appeared in public records.

3) Be careful with their weight. We all know how easy it is to lose control over our weight especially with years. Celebrities must keep an eye on it and monitor each piece they eat.

4) Do not marry Kevin Federline. This is what Britney Spears should have learned before she committed this mistake. The amount of criticism she got once she began to date the former back up dancer was huge. The thing is that in the entertainment industry you cannot really marry the one you like at first – you should think carefully. The unofficial law in Hollywood for ladies seems to be that it is necessary to marry a man who possesses the equal amount of power or even more than you. It is especially true for those whose career is just beginning.

Although it may appear unjust that those who dedicate themselves to the entertainment industry have to abide by this set of rules, they do harvest the rewards of their work. Celebrities make huge amounts of money, sometimes even more in one year then majority of us happen to earn in the whole lifetime. But maybe it is right that they sometimes mess everything up in their lives – it makes life a little more just.
