In general, if you are simply trying to get your name out there and promote brand awareness, go for the cheapest non-telescopic umbrella that you can find. Distribute these on a rainy day and your call center should be too busy to handle all of the responses! If you want to show an existing client how much you value their business, then a more expensive telescopic umbrella with a stylish carry case is definitely the way to go.
