Simple tools are needed, along with a desire to complete the project, which can be half the battle. Expect to take about an hour per window, to prep the window area and install the shutter. You'll need simple tools like a drill, screwdriver and a tape measure. Many of the shutters can be purchased at home improvement stores, and come with instructions, for those that are less confidence in their abilities.
