A tough breakup can be hard to get over—both for your mind and your heart. Vivid, warm, romantic memories of a past love can last for a long time after relationship has ended. Even though your relationship is now over, you may still be thinking of that special man and wishing sometimes that you could get back together.

But, before risking your heart and soul again in what is already a complicated situation, it would be helpful to get an inside track on his true feelings about you.

Here are 7 signs that he may want to get back together with you:

Sign #1: He calls or texts you frequently: If your ex is totally over your relationship, he should not be calling or texting you. If he is calling or texting, he still has feelings for you, regardless of the content of those messages. Remember, the point in contacting you is not to relay to you what he had for lunch or talk about the weather: it is to reaffirm his bond with you.

Sign #2: He has trouble talking normally to you: When you do have the chance to talk with your ex, you may find that he is unusually quiet or that he seems to stumble on his words. You may also notice that he has trouble looking you in the eye. If you are finding that your ex displays unusual behaviors when talking with you, this could be a sign that he another sign that he still harbors feelings.

Sign #6: You catch him looking or staring at you when you are looking away: If you work with your ex or spend any time around him, you may catch him staring your way when you happen to turn your head toward him.
