Walk The Wild Side
In this world , where so many people suffer from impaired vision, it is nice to know everyone has options when it comes to treating their conditions. Today there are many people that prefer to wear contacts on eye glasses. With colored contact lenses , one can choose their eye color ,as fast as one changes their wardrobe.
There are three popular brands of color lenses to choose from:
1. Enhancers
2. Opaque lenses
3. Light- filtering tints
These contact lenses come in a wide variety of colors and prescription types. The Plano is a contact lens with out vision correction. Also you have Spherical and Toric lens. It make no difference whether you purchase the Plano or any other lenses , you are required to have a current prescription for the contact lens and a fitting session. You can find all wearing and replacements schedules available in color contact lenses.
Enhancement Tints: With some handling tints , the color of one's eyes may slightly change. If one chooses to use cosmetic or enhancer tints, you may notice a very noticeable difference in the iris of one's eyes. These tints are known to blend with the natural color of the iris to achieve an enhanced color effect when being worn. If you have a naturally dark iris, you may find that these lens don't blend well because of the light dye that has been applied to the front surface of the lens. People with blue or green eyes have the best luck wearing enhancers such as aqua; blue; royal blue ; and green contact lenses.
The true color enhancement is obtained through the actual lens color; shade; and the intensity of the tint. Color often varies with the lighting conditions. Contact wearers will experience a difference in the colors from different manufacturers. For instance , aqua may be one color from one manufacturer and completely different with another manufacturer.
Opaque Tints: With opaque tints , dyes are incorporated throughout the lens material. This results in an independent color change of the underlying color of the iris. Opaque tints have been known to make brown eyes look blue .When wearing opaque tints , one may experience a reduced peripheral vision. This is especially true when the patients line of sight isn't centered.
Plano Color Contacts: Often color contacts were used for cosmetic purposes. Then companies realized there were a high demand for eye color change. This happen even among individuals that didn't have a vision impairment. So, companies set out to make a more sophisticated product to capture the growing contact lens wearers .First disposable contact lens, then there was opaque, and now there is patterns.
