Many America's Next Top Model fans have singled out Anya as, hands down, the top pick to win this cycle of the reality show. She had been called first a record five times, won Cover Girl once and beat the competition three times during challenges. Surely, these are great numbers. And as such, when she and Whitney ended up in the final two, many Top Model viewers thought Anya had it in the bag. Whitney, on the other hand, had four bottom two appearances. Not sure if this is a record, but it is way too high for any eventual winner.

Few have expected, therefore, that Anya will not only be nonchalant about the win, but she seemed genuinely ecstatic for Whitney. She even considers the Top Model winner her closest friend in the show.

"I love Whitney," she says, "me and her [sic] are going to be like best friends for the rest of our lives. We'll be calling each other when we're 80, and be like, 'Oh my gosh! Remember that time when we were on America 's Next Top Model together?'"

Akin to what everyone is saying, Anya admits that it might have been her walk that caused her the top prize. She admits being crazy nervous during the Versace fashion show.

"Yes, I was nervous," she says. "There were so many people, there were all the judges in the front row, but at the same time I loved every single moment of it. I was enjoying it, and I was just really grateful to have made it that far. I was having so much fun, and I wouldn't change it for the world, it was so much fun."

In the end, however, Top Model fans know that finishing second in the reality show will surely open doors for any budding model, especially one who has so much potential either skills and character wise, as Anya.
