How would you like to get your hands on the single most sought after product in all history? Do you think if you could give away the one thing that every single person on earth wants, you could successfully build your business? What would you say if I told you that you already own the product? You'd probably say I'm crazy and be surprised to learn that you do, indeed, have this product and it won't cost you a dime to use it.

The product is a simple one. It's this crazy little thing called love. Everyone on earth not only wants it, but in order to survive, needs it. When you use it as one of your business tools, you become the single biggest asset your business has. And, it's easier to utilize than you might think.

From the moment you come into contact with a potential client or business partner, make them feel your love for them as an individual. Take note of what they say and the way they present themselves. Then use those observations to give them compliments and help them realize you recognize their unique talents and potential. These simple words of affirmation create an instantaneous connection and help others feel comfortable with and loved by you.

The next thing to remember is that in order for a person to feel special in your presence, you have to devote some quality time to them. Quality time does not necessarily mean a great deal of time. Instead, in each interaction, be sure to listen intently and reiterate the things you've heard to show your potential client or business partner that you care about his or her life. Studies have shown that toddlers respond very well when their requests are repeated and surprisingly enough, adults do too. The fact is, when we feel heard, we automatically feel loved.

This brings us to giving gifts and performing acts of service. When, out of the blue, a potential client or business partner receives something from you, they immediately feel special. Whether you give a gift or do something a little out of the ordinary for the person, the results are the same. Step by step, you are creating a loving environment for the person and enabling them to feel connected to your kindness.

Lastly, use a personal touch. Keep notes on the person with whom you've come into contact and each time you talk to, or correspond with that person, include something that lets them know you remember them as an individual.

Mao Zedong said, "Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love." Make a habit of creating love and you'll habitually love what you've created.
