I think getting dumped by someone that you have loved and invested tremendous time and effort in is one of the worst things that can happen to you. At least it feels that way at the time doesn't it?

There are so many things that go through your mind when wrangling with a new breakup. It's like a fresh wound and all you can seem to do is pour salt in it. It seems like its all you can do to make it through the day.

Here are some tips that really helped me in getting my confidence back:

1) Do Your Own Thing for Awhile - This is really paramount to giving some separation to both you and your ex lover. I started to focus on other things besides them and started living again. Lo and behold, my ex started to once again become intrigued by my "new found" independence and confidence.

2) Don't Harass Them - Don't call, e-mail, text whatever. I know you want to but don't! There needs to be some mystery about you again. You will be surprised at what a little space can do.

3) Take Care of Yourself Physically - This does wonders for your confidence and your self esteem! The benefits here are many. Health, confidence and yes you guessed it, your ex will notice. Trust me on this one. We all tend to get a little to comfortable with our appearances within our relationships.

When pondering "how to win back my love", it's important to understand that regaining your confidence is going to be the key. After all confidence is very attractive.
