Yes, working for money is the cause of your debt. You may think I am crazy, but this is the truth. If you want to become part of the high class in society, you need to learn that the rich don't work for money while the poor and middle class do! Now what exactly do I mean by "work for money." What I mean is, the poor and the middle class go to work everyday in order to make money. They exchange their time for money. The Rich may do the same thing. They go to work everyday but the difference is they exchange their time to build assets. What is an asset? An asset is something that generates income for you. The Rich spend their time making money for assets (that's one way to put it), while the poor don't. For example, a poor man goes to work in a fast food restaurant and works for 10 years making money. His money is depleted through expenses and leisure, etc. A rich man who works in a fast food restaurant uses "leftover income" after expenses towards acquiring assets, which generate money. So the rich man spends his money on property that can generate income while he sleeps. The poor man spends his money on a vacation, a new car, a bigger house, etc. He continues to work for money to pay for his expenses and liabilities. The Rich man, on the other hand, generates income from his property. This extra income enables him to properly afford a big house, cars and taking vacations. This money is in addition to his work salary. The poor man on the other hand has no money besides his job salary! My lesson here? If you want to be rich, work for assets, not money!
