But this is what is happening; skin rashes, inflammation and burn injuries are the most common forms of injuries caused by cosmetics. These injuries can have a serious long term affect on women. As well as the physical effects these injuries inflict, you must not forget the emotional scarring that goes with it. For less severe scarring where there is some disfigurement but still some significant psychological reaction the amount would be in the region of £17,000 to £28,000. For trivial scarring where the effect is very minor the amount of compensation would be in the region of £1,000 to £2,000.
