This is the day and age of contract work where employers can hire and fire easier than ever, and offer very little, if any, health benefits to non-permanent staff.
If you find you are amid certain job lock, don't settle, especially when it comes to your health benefits. If you're not in a company with good benefits, try to find a company that appreciates it's employees, treats them right, and compensates them for their efforts.
