I have a little story to tell you about some of the adventure one has when one attempts to put together a web site like belongs to Zauction Offshore Inc. One has to have a reason to want to learn anything.. Back in 86 I was just being introduced to computers.. I would go down to the library every day and pester anyone there that looked like they knew something about computers.. People back then didn't have so many computers in their homes... The ones they had were certainly not what we have today. Instead of the XP we had the XT 186 dos machine.. It was crude by our standards today. Dos was what is called a command line operating system. Some dos machines had a menu program and even had a mouse. Windows 3.1 was barely on the horizon. All I knew back then was I wanted to write a book. I knew that I didn't have the education to be a writer, but I believed that the computer would make up for it. After all, it had a spell checker. I had not yet formulated the idea of Zauction Offshore.

I was living in a tent back then. Hoboing had become a way of life since about 1979 when I had watched my friend be framed by very powerful people connected to the federal government. He had been carted away in cuffs to do a 10 year sentence for what I knew he wasn't guilty of. I had been threatened by the FBI, treasury department, and the IRS. If I didn't say something bad about my friend they promised to get me later.

This had not been my friends first time to go to Prison. The government believed my friend owed them 56 million dollars. They let him out just to see if he had it hid somewhere.. They hoped to watch him dig it up and then nab him. When my friend went to prison, I went underground shortly there after and started to hobo. I wont go into that right now because that is not what this article is about. Those details are for another time. Suffice to say, I wasn't the one hiding my friends money, although they spent 4.2 million dollars trying to prove that I was... That is what made me understand that the USA government if sinfully wasteful. There are hungry people in this world that could have ate well off of the money that was spent to follow Billie Sol and I around.

I was mad, and a bit scared about being reduced from a money making business man to the status of a hobo. Believe me, it could happen to anyone. You don't have to drink and drug to become a hobo, but I did find that it helped... 5 years before I had owned a chain of wig shops, flew my own plane, and owned a nice house with two cars in the driveway. I had several bank accounts and they were full of money. The banker was trying to loan me money.

When everything was going great, the wife left an got to the bank first... It was sort of down hill after that for a long while. Well, it took what it took to get me to the here and now... but somewhere along the way, while I was laying in my hobo tent thinking one night, I started thinking that the reason the country is in such a mess is that it borrows too much money. I know if I borrow to much money my life is in a mess, and the country is really no different than the people in it. I didn't realize the half of it at that time...

Some few year later, I found myself living in section 8 housing, and computing on a really swell computer that I got with a grant... My understanding of what was going on with the government had grown a lot. Billy Sol had taught me some. But my understanding of just how messed up the government is, was be gaining to dawn on me big time... When I learned that we really didn't have money in this country I was shocked. Instead of money we have federal reserve notes. Well you say, it spends doesn't it? Yes it does, but that is just because most people are hypnotized into thinking that it has value. Money is what ever we agree on to have value... Fiat money is money that the government tells us to use... It is backed by nothing. You can not turn it in for gold or silver. It is just paper with ink on it that everyone thinks is valuable. When I realized that this paper is not even issued by our government, I started to get worried If nothing is backing it, and someone other than the government is printing it up, it is probably the guys printing the money that is calling the shots. The people are conned into thinking they have some say... In reality, the ones printing the money are the ones running things. If you can print your own money think of how many politicians you could buy. With your very own politicians I bet you could effectively run the country and have people doing just about anything you say. That is what is happening... The people printing the money is the Federal Reserve... It is not just the money they print is the problem, it is also the ledger accounts. They charge interest on the money they print... Does this fit the definition of Usury? If you make the money out of nothing on the ledger accounts, and are only out the paper and ink on the paper money, wouldn't anything that they would charge be an absorbent amount? Hi interest is Usury.

The people that print the money have a sweetheart agreement with the government. If they get to control the money the government can have all it wants... Why would they want any if they know it is not backed by anything? Well, they do, because they know that the public doesn't think abut it being worthless... They can use it like a carrot on a stick in front of a mule to keep the public going after it. They can cause artificial shortages of the money and guide the public into economic slavery. That is when I realized that something has to be done about this. The national debt goes up every year because money is cheap... It cost very little to print some up. The metal in coins is no longer gold and silver so that can be made very cheaply. The more the feds print, the less it is worth. Now fiat money might not be so bad if it wasn't made out of the national debt. We do not have money, we trade the federal reserve note to each other. A note is a debt. In this case, it is the national debt. That means that government can spend without restraint, and we get poorer when they do.

Now do you see why it finally dawned on me? Wow! We could use the computer to buy and sell over the Internet The server could be in a tax haven country... We could use private gold backed money that would not loose it's value because it is backed by something. When everyone who is using the dollar finds out that because the politicians are borrowing and spending us into a Bolivian, our paper money is worth less as time goes by.. Meanwhile, the people who use gold backed money are getting richer because as the fiat money goes down, the gold goes up in value. If we do this offshore over the Internet, the government can't get to it and rob us. I finally came to the conclusion that an auction might be the answer. After I inherited a lot of money I took a trip to Antigua as well as some of the other offshore islands and the rest is history. Some people I met on the trip set up what is now know as Zauction Offshore and made me a director of it. That is about all I can afford to remember about this. I somehow can not remember exactly who owns Zauction Offshore, So when I am ask about it, I say, that I neither claim nor deny any ownership in it. That's my story and I am sticking with it...
