Resale Rights - A Simple 5 Step Plan For Viral Marketing And Follow-Up

Step 1: Choose Master Resale Rights Products For Your Plan
Master resale rights allow you to resell products as well as the resale rights for those products. You need two specific types of master resale rights products for this plan:
- Products that have master resale rights that allow you to give them away as bonuses and package them with other products
- Premium or high value products with master resale rights that allow you to package them with other products
Step 2: Create Two Viral Marketing Packages To Give Away
From the master resale rights products that can be given away, create two resale rights packages. You will give these away with resale rights as part of your viral marketing campaigns. An easy way to create these viral marketing packages is to use eBook software to bundle several products together.
Design the viral marketing packages to promote your name and your website. Try to create packages where the perceived value of the package is high so that they will be popular and spread virally. Because they have resale rights, people who receive the packages will have an incentive to sell the packages, use them as bonuses with other products, or use them as incentives when people subscribe to newsletters.
Step 3: Create a premium resale rights package
From the premium or high value master resale rights products, create a premium resale rights products package to sell. The products can be bundled together as above, or they can just be a set of "loose products" or a main product with several nice bonuses. By creating a package, you can brand it and it will be something unique that you will have, even though it's made from other people's products.
Step 4: Set up your business system
Now that you have your viral marketing resale rights packages, you need to set up your business system. There are three basic components: a "squeeze page," an autoresponder, and a sales page.
A "squeeze page" is basically a sales letter that gets people interested, but they have to subscribe to your email newsletter to get more information. If people click away from your page without buying and without subscribing, the chance they will come back and buy is very small. Set up your website so that when people follow the links in your first viral marketing package to your website they land on your squeeze page. Use the second viral marketing package that you created as an incentive for people to subscribe to your newsletter.
Use a sequential autoresponder such as Aweber or GetResponse to send your email newsletter. A sequential autoresponder is an automated email system that can be set up to send follow-up email sequences at regular intervals of your choosing. Follow up regularly with your subscribers to provide on-topic information and promote your premium package. It can take seven times before someone makes a purchase.
After someone subscribes to your autoresponder on your squeeze page, redirect them to your sales page. Your sales page is where you sell the premium resale rights package that you created. Be sure to also promote your sales page links in your follow-up autoresponder messages.
Once someone makes a purchase, I recommend that you move them from your autoresponder for prospective customers to your autoresponder for customers. This way you can follow-up with appropriate related news, products, and services. People who are already happily doing business with you are likely to continue doing business with you. Whether doing business on or off the Internet, relationships and networking are important. We all prefer to do business with people we know and trust.
Step 5: Promote your first viral marketing resale rights package
Offer the first of the two viral marketing giveaway packages as a bonus or an incentive wherever you can, with resale rights. You just want to get it out everywhere possible so that it will start spreading as people sell it, give it away, bundle it in packages, etc. You want it to spread like a virus and take on a life of its own. Keep putting it out in any way you can think of (but do not spam, of course). You can use publicity releases, signature lines in forum posts, free downloads sites, etc. You can even use pay-per-click advertising or sell the package for a very low cost on eBay (if the rights of the products in the package allow this).
If you have done a good job on the 5 simple steps above, at some point this viral marketing system will reach critical mass. Because all of the packages have resale rights and the first two also have giveaway rights, more and more people will start to spread your products like a virus. More people will visit your squeeze page and sales page. Many will buy your premium product, and even more will download and spread the giveaway packages.
Congratulations! You have just created a viral marketing campaign that may produce sales and leads for years to come, totally independent of additional marketing once you get the ball rolling. Now go do the same thing over and over with new packages!
