8 Tips To Beat Stress
Sean Carter
Man dies in several ways. He either dies by self will or sometimes by accident. But stress is something that neither allows him to die properly nor live life in peace. Stress leaves a person mentally and physically fatigued. We loose that normal balance of life and land up doing things that we ourselves are unsure about. Like any other disease, stress too causes internal problems. Stressful events leads our adrenal glands to release adrenaline, which causes our hearts to pound, blood pressure to rise, muscles to blow up and the pupils of our eyes to pop out. Stress is not something that gives you an alarm before it arrives. It slowly creeps up on you and by the time you realize it you are badly trapped.
Not everybody reacts the same way to stress. It varies from individual to individual. To some stress is because of problems at office. The work load is bad enough to break their backs bones. To many it is because of a major problem in the family. Students keep juggling between homework and play and they end their childhood in the hands of stress. A very close person's death also leaves a person completely stressed out. Researches also show that, women with children suffer stress to a greater extend compared to the ones who are not mothers. This in no way means that, women without children do not suffer from stress but just that the former suffers the most. Prolonged health problems also lead to situations where a person feels completely stressed and almost gives up the wish to live life. It takes a little time to believe that even housewives undergo stress trying to decide as to what shall be the menu for the following day. Going on stage also fills in a kind of fear and tension in a person. Biting their nails is a common scene but no body other than the person himself know the extend of stress he/she is undergoing.
Stress is nothing that is suffered by just a few. Almost everybody is a sufferer of stress. Some find it really tough to fight stress but for the rest its just a passing phase of life. But whatever may be the case, it could turn very dangerous if it is neglected.
Tips to kill stress
Live a very organized life. Plan before you do anything. Use of a planner or an organizer is always advisable. Don't depend too much on your memory. Use it for a better purpose.
Whenever you feel that you are in a situation where things are not going to be in your control or that you are going to face a tough time, always rehearse. To say for example, if you are going for a performance on stage, always rehearse till you have convinced your self that you are not going to do anything scary. Take no stress for silly things.
Be practical in life rather than wasting your time over things that hold not much value. Let quality rule rather than quantity. Moreover it should never hurt your ego to ask experienced people whenever you feel you are stuck somewhere. Experience has always benefited man in the long run.
Our mood is at its best during the early hours of the day. Thus try to finish up all the complicated and boring work in the morning itself. The second half could drive your stress cells wild.
Eat right and sleep tight. Try to hang this in all visible corners of your house. Nothing could beat stress better.
It may sound funny but talking to your self in times of stress helps to a great extend. No body could better give you the courage than yourself.
Live your life the way you have wanted it to be. Taking advise from people is definitely good but never nothing helps better than following your own heart. You might make mistakes but you learn from your mistakes.
Try to develop a sense of humor. It helps a lot in the long run. If at all you feel that you lack in it, just try to be with people who have it in them.
Every body takes to the stage of stress but we give a standing ovation to the ones who take stress into their strides and accept it as a challenge.
