From Si Saket Town to the Border of Thailand-Cambodia border in Amphoe Kantoralak, around a hundred kilometers away, there are some interesting attractions. Those are Namtok Phu La Or which is a wonderful waterfall, Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew in Amphoe Khun Han, and another waterfall called Namtok Samrong Keart which is around 20 kilometers from Amphoe Khun Han.
Pha Mo E-Daeng
At the end of the highway 221, around 36 kilometers southward of Amphoe Kantorarak, there is a cliff cakked Mo E-Daeng. From here, you can see the scenery of Phanom Dong Rak Mountain and Phrasart Hin Khao Phra Wihan very well. Moreover, near pha Mo E-Daeng is a Vihara with a Buddha image, and Cambodian style low relif on the cliff. Created since the 10th Century, this work of art is the oldest Khmer relifs on the cliff in Thailand.
Phrasart Khao Phra Wihan
This is one of the most famous temples in Thailand, for once we had a disagreement with Cambodia concerning the right over this temple. However, it is the possession of Cambodia.
The temple is on Khao Phra Wihan which is 675 meters high. Founded since the 11th-12th Century, it used to be the center of ancient Khmer community. Until today, this temple is considered the grandest and the most beautiful Phrasart in Thailand.
