Whether or not we want to admit it we must accept the reality that virtually
NO-ONE joins any MLM because of the product...THEY JOIN BECAUSE OF THE MONEY.
Sorry to burst everyone's bubble...but let me put it to you another way
If you were making $10K a month with a company and the
product was cat hair in a plastic bag...would you really care?
Or would you just go on living your happy life making $120K a year;
and every month when your cat hair came you just threw it in the trash
Let me put it yet another way...
Do you still have any ?wonder product? stacked up in your garage from
2001(I know I still do)
or
Does your network marketing company provide a service that you have never even used?
Now don't get me wrong... having a product/service that actually brings value to
the market place is important (if for no other reason than not getting shut down by the government)
but the reality is that WE JOIN FOR THE MONEY!!!!
One of the biggest mistakes Network Marketing Companies and their
distributors make is focusing on the product as opposed to focusing on a simple system
of making money
Come to think of it maybe the reason most companies focus on the product is because
they don't have a simple and duplicatable system.
Please understand, I am not "anti-product" I am just sick and tired of getting 8 million
offers for different companies all claiming to have the "next big thing".
Obviously, if a new distributor is going to shell out their hard earned money for
something then it is great if they find value in it. But the reality is we usually
just use the validity of the product to further justify joining a new opportunity.
Sure there have been times when I thought the product or service was well worth the money.
Heck, there have been times when I thought the product/service was absolutely phenomenal.
But the reality still remains...
I didn't join for the lotion
I didn't join for the potion
I didn't join for the pill
I didn't join for the free vacation
I didn't join for the phone/internet service
I didn't join to have a lawyer
I didn't join for the free leads
I didn't join because of the super ultimate wonder-juice
I joined because I wanted to make enough money to buy my mom a house and pay CASH for it.
You joined because you want to quit your 9 to 5 or have enough to pay for your child's
college education in cash.
We join these opportunities because we want financial freedom.
That's the bottom line...and you know what...There is nothing wrong with that.
