I was looking at a quiz recently that dealt with success. As I looked at the questions on the quiz one caught my eye and really stood out. The question was "Do you finish projects that you start?" You know that is a really good question that you should ask yourself before you start a network marketing business. I will go so far as to say that if you answer no that you have a 95% chance of not becoming successful in network marketing.

If you answer yes you are still not out of the mlm woods, but let's face it. You have a personality trait that is one of the most important things you need to survive in multi-level marketing. When I say survive I really mean stick with it until you have become a success. Stick with it until you have finished this project.

Success in network marketing means different things to different people. Maybe an extra $200 a month is your goal. Perhaps you want to quit your job and work full time for yourself. Both are possible. When you have achieved your goal you may not be done yet. You may set a new goal and begin to work towards hitting it.

For people who do not finish projects you have a very poor chance of ever making any money in an mlm business. The reason for this is simple. There are no overnight success stories in network marketing. I am not talking about the lucky 1 in a million person who sponsors the next Mark Yarnell or Stone Evans. Believe it or not the person who sponsored both of these mlm heroes quit before they ever made any money. I'm talking about actually experiencing failure along the way. The type of pain that may want to make you quit.

To become a network marketing success you are going to have to finish what you start. You are going to have to ride out the lows to ever reach the highs in your business. Can you do that? It certainly is possible even if you do not normally finish what you start now. You are going to need an attitude adjustment. Fortunately the mlm industry has no shortage of qualified people willing to help you work on you. The question now is will you do it!
