Do it yourself carpentry or DIY woodworking as it's also known was a fad in the 1890s but it looks like it's here to stay. Unlike many of the other fads and fashions that come and go. And with so many novice DIY experts around its no wonder. Let's face it, do it yourself, can save you a bundle of cash. The only caveat to this is where does one get started?
