Every time a parent visits their son in jail they are relying on Faith to keep their child safe from harm. By relying on Faith to carry us through the difficult times of our life, we are placing our life in the hands of God. The Word of God gives us the Faith that we need to carry us through many things, and without that Faith some people do not know how to deal with what life offers them.

To those that have no religious background, it is difficult for them to begin relying on Faith. They have no basis to form an opinion on life in the here and now or in the time that is ahead of all of us when the promises of the Lord say that we are all going to be held accountable for the lives we lead on Earth.

We only have Faith to rely on to know that we can turn all of our problems over to God and that he will help us through them. By relying on Faith to carry us through the trials and tribulations that we endure on Earth, we are in fact, actually professing our Faith in a God that we can not see, feel or touch except with our hearts. There are times when relying on our Faith to carry us through never seems to be enough, but through prayer we find that we have actually more than we bargained for.

When Faith in the Lord we can do wonderful things that we never really thought we were capable of. We have the ability to love others that we never even met and learn to appreciate life by doing without things just so other people can have something. By relying on Faith to carry us through we can help other people carry a load that they might not be prepared to carry at the time.

Some people do a lot of praying but get no results that they can see instantly. By relying on Faith to get us through, we learn to develop a patience that we never knew was deep inside us. We learned to be patient about problems of the heart, mind and soul and to be patient when waiting to hear from someone. By relying on Faith to carry us through, we know we have the stamina to wait a very long time for an answer or to simply open the Bible and look for the answer.

Relying on Faith to carry us through might make a person feel blind at times. Life can seem just as bleak and dark as an ocean on a stormy night but by relying on Faith to carry us through, we also know that the morning will be a brand new day that should be joyful and bright. Every rainfall can be a cleansing experience in more ways than one, and many people find great solace from the morning dew on grass just outside their front door.
