To Pack Or Not To Pack?
These days, traveling is not categorized as a pastime for retired folks anymore. It has been included in a person's lifetime itinerary. Our insatiable eyes will always want to discover the beautiful things around the globe. No, this does not mean that we are not happily contented in the peace and security our homeland gives us. This just means that we have learned and loved our own land long enough and we are then ready to see a new one that we could possibly create memories in.
Now, traveling can be both exciting and exhausting. The excitement comes naturally most of the time; while the exhaustion on the other hand, comes with the packing and the lugging of heavy baggage around. To help cope with the exhaustion, here are some travel essentials that you should never forget wherever you may go, whatever the weather.
-A good book / ipod can make the most reliable company you can have along the entire trip
-A pair of comfortable shoes is good to carry you up to thousands of miles without hurting your toes. You should seriously walk. You can enjoy the sights and sceneries while burning calories at the same time.
-A sweater or hoodie will keep you warm when you jet-set to a cool country. It can also serve as a cover-up when you find yourself needing one on a cool night at the beach.
-The trusty lip balm can sooth chapped or wind-burned lips because you never really know what to expect in case it's a place you haven't been to ever.
-Fabulous outfits can make head turns even in other countries.
-A travel journal to write in can serve as a reminder just in case you had a great time.
-Bring money and lots of it for shopping. You're traveling right? Traveling could mean the opportune time to buy clothes for those clone-phobics.
-The renowned sunscreen should never be forgotten for obvious reasons.
-The camera is essential for those Kodak moments. Whatever it is, just point and shoot.
-A flattering swimsuit or any beach wear that you can just jump into whenever the group decides for an impromptu night-swimming is a good thing to bring along as well.
-A pair of sunglasses, hats and/or umbrella can be very useful and which you can use every time you have a bad hair day or on days when you're just too lazy to think out what to wear.
-Your mobile phone and/or laptop can help you keep in touch with the people back home. These are actually optional.
But the most crucial thing when you're traveling is the people you are with. If they aren't the right ones, however complete your "things-to-bring" list is, the hassle in preparing for the trip is definitely not worth it.
