When the once powerful U.S. economy officially went into ressicion, many lost there stable employment in erie droves leaving them desperatly seeking other means of employment. While some found their way to the compnany in that depressing year, loyal sales reps never saw a real change in their earnings.
"It's really not that hard." says Steve Woolbright of Northwest Las Vegas. " My wife does the hard stuff. I just hit the pavement and hand out our catalogs." Steve and Erika Woolbright have their own Avon business in Las Vegas. After Steve retired, he dedicated most of his free time to helping his wife run their home based business.
The Woolbrights reported earnings of at least $80,000 and their team repoting total sales of at least $1.2 million. Now take into account that the Woolbrights have sold the cosmetic icons products for over three years now. So what about the newbies to the business?
Stacy Edington began selling Avon when she lost her graphic design position in May of 2008. "I didn't know what to do. I'd just put a down payment on a new condo and filled it with new furniture. I saw an ad on the back of an SUV two weeks later and called the number. By August I was making about $700 a week and sales began to increase as the holiday season appoached."
Stacy last repoted that her best week during the holiday season was $1500 and her worst was about $800. " I never knew I could make this kind of money so easy."
Avon Products Inc. has been in business since 1886, even surviving The Great Depression. Its companies history has given it the reputaion and following that it has today. With no immediate turn around in the near future for this sagging economy, look for more and more people turn to companies like Avon to make up for that missing paycheck.
