When the tractor warms up it suddenly dies although it worked fine to start with. Usually this is the condenser. Best to replace rather than messing around testing.
Basic Fix #2 - Good battery won't actuate the starter
Don’t just replace the starter. Check the connections at your battery cables. If these are very warm, they are {{{probably|possibly))) the wrong gauge. Also do a basic check to make sure all connections are good and firm.
Basic Fix #3 - Wont start in wet weather & high moisture times
Check the distributor cap for moisture. Dry it out and off you go.
Basic Fix #4 - Overheating motor and/or not charging
Don’t start replacing everything and emptying your wallet. First check the belt to the cooling fan is the correct type and tension.
Basic Fix #5 - Boiling out radiator fluid
Your tractor boils radiator fluid whenever as soon as it warms up. Check the cap is the right size and that the seal is intact. If not then your radiator can boil at normal temperatures.
Basic Fix #6 – Engine burning oil
If everything seems to be going OK but you are worried by oil smoke from the exhaust. Likely you have the wrong weight of oil. Too light and it gets drawn into the engine. Check your owner manual or take a look at the internet for advice.
